Ezmon ("we", "us", "our") operates the ezmon.dev monitoring service. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our service, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep this policy short and plain. If something is unclear, email us at privacy@ezmon.dev.
Name, email address, and hashed password when you register. Optionally: company name, billing address.
The hostnames, IPs, ports, URLs, and credentials you enter to configure your monitors.
Latency measurements, up/down status, and error codes collected by our agents when they probe your targets. This is the core data that powers your dashboards and alerts.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We store only the last four digits of your card, expiry date, and Stripe customer ID. We never see or store your full card number.
Server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) retained for 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
A single session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Running checks against your monitors, generating alerts, and rendering dashboards.
Invoicing you for paid subscriptions.
Transactional emails: password resets, plan changes, and occasional product updates. You can opt out of product updates at any time.
Detecting anomalous access patterns and preventing misuse of the platform.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We share data only with: - Stripe — payment processing - Neon — database hosting (data stays in the EU by default) - Infrastructure providers — servers and networking required to run the service All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements consistent with GDPR.
Retained according to your plan: 7 days (Free), 30 days (Starter), 90 days (Pro).
Deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.
Retained for 7 years as required by EU accounting law.
Under GDPR (and equivalent laws), you have the right to: - Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you - Rectification — correct inaccurate data - Erasure — request deletion of your account and data - Portability — export your monitor configuration and check results as JSON - Objection — opt out of any non-essential data processing To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ezmon.dev. We respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: - All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+ - Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (cost factor 12) - Access to production databases is restricted to named engineers via MFA-gated SSH No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@ezmon.dev.
We may update this policy. If the change is material, we will email registered users at least 14 days before it takes effect. The current version is always available at this URL. Last updated: May 2026
